Love that you have a "slow, deep hope" now. I relate to this as a divorcee who spent four years very much glad, I thought, to be forever alone - until I wasn't and I found my way to a place where I could find love again with a boyfriend. The happiness is so different - calm and safe. The hope feels simple, mature. Yay! Congrats to you!
